manatee's wake

game ideas (for when i figure out how to make games)

Brave Little Toaster meets Luigi's Mansion?

A cozy spooky adventure RPG where you're a sapient vacuum cleaner. With help from other appliances and gadgets, you try to solve the mystery of why the building (hotel?) you're in was abandoned. You restore health by plugging into electrical outlets, and acquire various vacuum attachments to use as weapons or tools.

Neko Atsume meets gardening sim.

Plantatees. You build and maintain a water garden to attract manatees that have plants growing from their backs. These "plantatees" come in many, many plant species and variations. They have differing food, item, and weather preferences. Some are more common during certain seasons or times of day. They can crossbreed, and some varieties can only be acquired through breeding. They may drop leaves, twigs, petals, and other plant material that can be used to make items. Or more rarely, they may give you an item they found. The manatees are free to come and go as they please, but as you win a manatee's trust, it may appear more often and stay longer.

Yes, you can pet them. And if you let the game idle for several minutes, a manatee will snoot-boop the screen. (•(°°)•)

The one with pigeons.

An action strategy game where you're a pigeon, building and defending your silly little nests on random urban and suburban objects. Traffic lights, the tops of air conditioning units, an old tennis racket... so many ridiculous possibilities.
